WAYCOTTS HAT TRICK AT SEAWAY COURT
Apartments in the sought-after landmark development of Seaway Court in Torquay do not come on the market very often, but Estate Agents Waycotts have achieved three sales of three apartments there in just three months.
Seaway Court was built in the grounds of the Grand Hotel in the late 1970s, and it still has the benefit of the use of the hotel's outdoor swimming pool, with a reciprocal arrangement for the use of the development's tennis court.
With the past involvement of Waycotts' specialist development, commercial and residential departments in the building, their particular knowledge of Seaway Court has lead to their handling of several sales of apartments there over the years since the original land sale, some more than once.
The three 2-bedroomed apartments recently sold were on the first, second and third floors, and all have wonderful sea and coastal views into Torbay, from Torquay Harbour across to Brixham and Berry Head. The asking prices ranged from £299,950 to £325,000.
In addition, two of the three apartments just sold were originally bought through Waycotts. One of the couples had bought their apartment as a holiday flat, but enjoyed Torquay so much they have relocated and bought a main residence in town.
